It is Dallas meets The Actual Housewives of Dallas! 

Do not let the ’80s model idiot you: RHOD can carry extra drama than the fictional Ewing household any day. On this campy unique sneak peek at tonight’s new episode, the women of RHOD go to the famed Ewing Mansion at Southfork Ranch immortalized by hit 1980s cleaning soap opera Dallas. Whereas some Housewives are star-struck, others aren’t impressed.

“Each Friday evening, I’d sit with my dad and we might watch the episode of Dallas when it aired,” mega-fan D’Andra Simmons confesses. “So long as that present was airing, we have been speaking about it.” 

“I used to be born in 1980. I’ve zero relationship to the tv present Dallas,” Stephanie Hollman jokes. “Nonetheless my husband is previous and he has a relationship [with it].” 

After all the Ewing Mansion is not simply an icon for classic cleaning soap opera followers. “New York has MoMA, the Guggenheim. L.A. has the Getty. We now have Southfork,” Simmons laughs.

“That is what folks went loopy for again within the ’80s? Who knew,” Hollman counters.
