Halsey Apologizes for Sharing Picture Depicting Her Consuming Dysfunction: “I Had Optimistic Intentions”

Halsey is saying “Sorry” after she shared an image on Instagram that confirmed the consequences of her consuming dysfunction. 

The “Dangerous at Love” singer used newly well-liked “publish a photograph of” immediate, and requested followers what they needed to see. When one stated, “you at your lowest level,” Halsey shared a topless mirror selfie and wrote, “TW: ED, ask for assist,” in keeping with Simply Jared. The picture was later taken down.

On Monday, Dec. 28, the 26-year-old apologized on Twitter for the insensitive publish. 

She tweeted, “TW: disordered consuming,” including, “I’m very sorry for posting a photograph of myself depicting my battle with ED and not using a adequate set off warning.”

The musician continued, “I used to be very nervous to publish it and did not assume correctly. I had optimistic intentions. I’d by no means need to hurt somebody who shares my battle.”
