Anthony Anderson’s Mother Hilariously Scolds Him Throughout Emmys Monologue
The 2023 Emmys began off with a bang.
Host Anthony Anderson took the stage on the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles at first of the Jan. 15 award ceremony, poking enjoyable of his childhood crushes on The Info of Life characters as a part of his opening speech. Nonetheless, it was the comic’s mother Doris Hancox who stole the present, standing up from the group to heckle Anthony to “hurry up” along with his monologue. “Shut up!” she instructed the Black-ish star. “I wanna go to the after-parties.”
