Ana de Armas is all for placing the thriller again into Hollywood.

Whereas reflecting on the notion of fame all through the a long time, the Knives Out actress pointed the finger at social media for altering the best way followers view celebrities.

“I really feel like the brand new generations do not have that idea of thriller surrounding fame, due to social media,” Ana informed Vainness Honest in an interview revealed on Feb. 15. “There’s a lot data on the market and oversharing. The idea of a film star is somebody untouchable you solely see onscreen. That thriller is gone.”

She added, “For essentially the most half, we have completed that to ourselves—no one’s protecting something from anybody, anymore.”

And Ana is aware of a factor or two about Hollywood’s golden period, as she depicted Marilyn Monroe within the Netflix movie Blonde. Trying again on the profession of the long-lasting bombshell, the 34-year-old stated, “There was quite a bit there that I might relate to.”

She continued, “When you put Marilyn Monroe ‘the film star’ apart, she’s simply an actress attempting to navigate life and this technique, which is so arduous to navigate for anyone.”
